Awkwafina
American actor and musician Awkwafina began her career with hilarious songs that dealt with sexual identity and race with a the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to expanding her reach into Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants within Forest Hills Queens her first experience with music came through trumpet. Additionally, she was given the classical and jazz education later when she began to explore hip-hop as a teenager. While in college, she took classes in journalism and women's studies. Then, she even had an hour studying Mandarin in Beijing. She didn't start focusing on music until after she finished her studies. Following her viral success on the Internet and her own song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. It also included other hit songs that went viral, such as the body-positive Queef as well as the cheeky hometown tour NYC BitcheUSD. The track that was published is directly linked to the album Awkwafinas NYC, her travel guide for 2015. She opted to pursue acting as a profession following the completion of her previous two ventures as a musician and author. Alongside early TV shows that included Girl Code and Tawk - she was in films Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. In 2018 she landed her first major role in a number of high-profile films such as Dude Ocean's 8, and Crazy Rich Asians. In June she debuted her debut film, In Fina We Trust.
